Christian Formation is at the very heart of the church and should be a lifelong quest to explore one’s faith and grow closer to God. Grace Episcopal Church is committed to promoting the spiritual growth of all ages. We offer many classes, retreats and activities all of which are all geared toward enhancing one’s faith and providing spiritual enrichment. We want members and visitors alike to be nurtured in their beliefs, grow in their knowledge and be inspired to live faithfully and joyfully. We believe Christian Formation occurs not only in the classroom but is also part of everything we do….it is in our worship, in our outreach efforts and in our fellowship with one another. All are welcome to join us in any of our education programs- as seekers, teachers or both!
Our youth have two options on Sundays.......
Children are encouraged to be part of worship at Grace either by attending regular service with their parents or attending the Youth Worship (Mini Messy Church) downstairs.
Attending the Regular Service
If they wish to attend with their parents we offer worship bags and bulletins especially for their age range (3-6) and (7-12). Please look for the Children's Worship Bags out side of Grace Church and feel free to ask the ushers if you don't immediately see it!
Each Bag contains Seasonal activities to aid in the enjoyment of the service.
Mini Messy Church
From their very first sessions until the children reach High School, our youth will learn the stories and histories of the bible and church in a format that is age appropriate and fun, providing them with core understanding of their faith. Click on the links below for more information.
We have Youth Worship (Mini Messy Church) downstairs during the Fall through Spring at the 11 o'clock Service. It includes crafts, snacks and a bible lesson.
Please fill out a Sunday School Registration Form if you plan to have your Child attend Classes this Fall.
What is Messy Church?
We also meet once a month for an inter-generation Worship Service.....
We always need adults and teens to volunteer to help with our classes. Please contact Suzanne Nash if you can help as a substitute or would like to assist with our program!
