When we walk into Grace Church, we are reminded of the extraordinary life and ministry of this congregation — a community grounded in faith, strengthened by fellowship, and committed to serving one another and our neighbors.

Our Stewardship Campaign theme is We Walk by Faith, drawn from St. Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 5:7: “for we walk by faith, not by  sight.”

Those words seem especially meaningful for Grace this year.

In the months ahead, our parish will enter an important time of transition.  As we give thanks for Father Miles’ faithful ministry, we will welcome an Interim Priest-in-Charge and begin the thoughtful work of discerning whom God is calling to serve as Grace’s next rector. We cannot yet see exactly where this journey will lead, but we can move forward together with confidence — trusting in God, listening to the Holy Spirit, and placing our faith in the strength and vitality of this parish community.

We Walk by Faith also reminds us that stewardship is about more than meeting a financial goal. It is an expression of our commitment to Grace and to one another. Our pledges sustain our worship and music, care for our historic church and grounds, support our clergy and staff, strengthen our outreach and ministries, and ensure that Grace remains a vibrant spiritual home for generations to come.

Our annual stewardship campaign will run throughout October, and our goal for 2027 is $360,000. Every pledge matters. Gifts to Grace vary widely, reflecting the different circumstances of our parishioners, and we hope everyone who considers Grace their church
home will participate at whatever level is meaningful to them.

Everyone will receive a pre-printed pledge card. If you prefer to use the pre-printed card, either bring it to Grace or mail it to the church address. Those with email may pledge on-line. To pledge online, scroll down to the pledge form below. Fill in your information and go to the bottom to the Submit button. Whichever way you choose to pledge, please read the information carefully and you only need to pledge one way.

Please make your pledge known by Sunday November 1st so we may count your pledge in our ingathering blessing and celebrate together for another fruitful year ahead.

Throughout October, we also invite you to listen to fellow parishioners share their own stories of Grace — what brought them here, what keeps them here, and why this community matters to them. Their Voices from the Pews will be shared during Sunday services and in the Messenger.

As Grace enters this next chapter, our collective commitment is particularly important. We have much for which to be grateful, much to look forward to, and every reason to approach the future with faith and hope.

Please join us, together with the Vestry, in making your 2027 pledge to Grace. We may not yet see every step of the road ahead, but we will walk it together — by faith.
