Endeavoring to find fresh ways to get together, both “newcomers” and “old timers” at Grace participate in social activities designed to promote friendship. These include the coffee hours following our 11 a.m. service, and a picnic or parish dinner approximately once a month. Each year we celebrate at least one service outdoors in a beautiful farm setting. Among yearly events, we invite members to Foyer Dinner Groups, held in parishioners’ homes, to get to know one another better. Please click on the titles to learn more:
Coffee Hour
On a weekly basis we enjoy Coffee Hour in the Parish Hall after each worship service. This is an informal gathering and a nice time to greet friends and make new ones.
Men of Grace
The Men of Grace meet once a month on the second Tuesday at Martha Jefferson Hospital at 9:30
Foyer Groups
Parishioners are able to connect at various times during the year and learn more about each other through Foyer Dinner Groups. These usually take place in private homes and you can contact Eleanor Adams or Micki Adams to sign up for a Foyer Group.
The Fellowship Committee also helps to organize the details and food preparations when we gather together in celebrations with food and fellowship throughout the year.
Here are a few other opportunities for fellowship supported by the Fellowship Committee as well as through multiple other committees:
