​Search for the new Music Director and Organist

Position Description:
The Music Director and Organist of Grace Episcopal Church, Keswick is a part-time position, involving:
  • The 11am Sunday service (10am summer)
  • Special feast day services (Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week)
  • Weddings and funerals by honoraria, as available
  • Directing the adult choir
  • Planning and coordinating organ recitals
  • Planning and coordinating guest ensembles such as Three Notch’d Road (https://www.tnrbaroque.org/) and other musicians
  • ​Playing for the Thanksgiving Day Blessing of the Hounds 
Blessing of Hounds
  • Playing for a possible monthly Sunday afternoon service for young families 

​Must be familiar with liturgical worship traditions. Teaching privileges are available.
A new Taylor & Boody Opus 77 organ was installed in 2019 ​
Opus 77
​Salary $27,500 and negotiable according to experience. Vacation, sabbatical leave, and continuing education are available as per American Guild of Organist guidelines.  .15 FTE.
